William Holden was found dead on November 17, 1981.  At the age 63 years old, his body was found by an apartment manager inside his Santa Monica apartment. Police surmized that he died of natural causes after he tripped and hit his head and bled to death. In this series we look at the details around his death and the highlights of his life and career.
